LAST POST OF THE SEMESTER

Logic has been a struggle for me I really think that it should be a course that last all year with like part A in the fall the part B in the spring. It truly is learning a new language that I have still not come to grip with but it is getting clearer as each day goes by. I want to thank everyone that took the time to reply to help me when I was stuck it really means a lot. Hope everyone has a great day :)

So I have asked people for advice on how to better understand logic so in chapter 4 I did what fellow classmate said worked for her and that was taking notes as u read along and it really helped me understand the venn diagrams.

During the break I put one to two hours asides and I am actually glad it did it was gods advice that was given. I hope that everyone had a great break and enjoyed the time off :)

So I completely and begin to understand section 4 witch is a huge relief. I find making the dig rams very helpful to understand them. Just wondering if anyone has an other suggestions on how I can understand the rest of the materials because I know that it is going to get a lot more complicated and I'm trying to learn this stuff thanks again

The movie shown in class

The movie that was shown was very helpful and it was a good movie i would like to watch teh rest of it but i forgot the name. Does anyone remember the name of it def helped me with the fallacies. I can now see how you could use fallacies in a wrong way to trick people in believing what you have to say in your argument.

Okay formal fallacies are all A are B
                                          all C are B
                                      therefore all A are C
But informal fallacies dont fit that do i have that right? Informal fallacies are a but confusing..

P1: Behavior can be molded by teaching
P2: Negative reinforcement is a part of behavior
P3: Negative reinforcement is the removal of something
P4:Negative reinforcement increases a behavior to occurP5:Reinforcement is used to strengthen  behavior

C: Negative reinforcement is a way to strengthen a behavior to occur again

Need some clarificton

On Friday on the quiz I'm a bit confused on the vague and ambiguous section. I re-read it in the book but that really didn't help with clearing it up. I also looked at my notes and have written down that vague means not very descriptive and  meaning having a ambiguous double meaning that one i understand like the word bat having two meanings.Can someone give me an example of vague that would help pick it out because on the quiz that was the hardest part for me. Thanks for the help and i hope that everyone enjoys the long weekend :)
     ( oh one last thing what was the homework because i didn't catch what he said at the end thanks again).

I have learned a lot in such a short period of time about logic. I know that it does take a lot of practice to be good at doing the problems, but my thing is i always seem to second guess myself on if an inductive argument i completely understand deductive arguments but for some reason i always secong guess myself when it comes to inductive. An inductive argument is when one or more of the premises are false and the conclusion does not follow ( do i have that right?) But if anyone can explain it to me in a better way that would be great thanks.
